This entry is part 1 of 6 in the series Briarpatch Review, No. 3, Messages from the Briarpatch

One of the most rewarding aspects of publishing the Briarpatch Review is getting letters from Briars. Our readers write to us like friends–telling us how they feel and what they’re doing–and the letters give such a warm feeling of community that reading one is like getting a hug. And of course, these Briars are talking to each other as well as to us, giving valuable information and support. That’s what the Review is all about: communication, communion . . . . We need these responses to know whether we’re meeting your needs and how we can make the Review truly relevant to Briarpatch living. The following are just a few of the many messages we’ve had since the publication of the last issue.
