This entry is part 3 of 10 in the series Briarpatch Review, No. 2, Messages from the Briarpatch

Well, I’m sure you have heard the story about the man who was offered a pill guaranteed to make him smarter. When he remarked, on biting into it, that it was a sheep’s pill, he was told, “See, you’re getting smarter already.” Ha-Ha. I feel a little like that man. I paid $25 for a lifetime subscription to a magazine that purported to be able to teach me about economics, and sure enough, I learned something about economics. But I have lately gotten over my initial amusement and have begun to wonder about just what did happen to my 25 bucks. If you really are going to put out a magazine, I won’t begrudge you the case. Anyway, please fill me in, a postcard will be fine.
